Procedures, Policies, & Payment


Procedures

I try to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your session to have paperwork filled out and set up to start on time. If you would like the paperwork emailed to you prior to your session to have ready upon my arrival, please let me know when booking.

You will be respectfully draped by a sheet at all times, with only the specific area being worked on uncovered as the massage proceeds. Towels as draping are only used during scrubs and body wraps, as the procedure for these treatments is different from a massage. Requests to be draped by only a towel, or to be fully naked on the table with no covering during a massage, will not be accommodated.  
 

Payment

I prefer Venmo, Zelle, or ApplePay. However, I do accept in this order: PayPal, Checks, or Cash, if the very first three payment options mentioned are not available. 
 

Tipping

I frequently receive questions about tips.

Tipping is appreciated, never expected! If you feel you have received exemplary service and would like to extend a tip, your generosity is much appreciated. 

 

Scheduling sessions for friends or family

Sessions booked for people other than yourself must be paid in advance. There are two options: purchase a gift certificate to allow the other person to schedule on their own time, or pre-pay the day before if you are scheduling the session for the other person. If you purchase a gift certificate and would like me to reach out to the person to set up the session, please let me know. 
 

Gift Certificates 

While gift certificates do not have an expiration, I do ask that they are used in a timely manner, and respectfully within at least a year of the purchase date. I keep track of all gift certificates purchased, and require the person's full name and telephone number, to ensure a session is booked within an appropriate time frame. 

Cancellations

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.
I always text the day before to confirm in case something comes up for either one of us. I understand that sometimes things beyond our control happen. If I receive a same day cancellation, in order to move forward with rebooking again, a credit card will need to be placed on file to hold the new appointment or the session will have to be paid for in advance. 
 

For groups of 4 or more people I have a 48 hour cancellation policy, and the same information above applies. This is to ensure the time that has been set aside for your session can be rebooked, in the event that you need to cancel. 

Group Bookings 

Bookings for 5 or more people will require a deposit. I only accept Venmo, Zelle, ApplePay or PayPal for group deposits. The deposit will be deducted from the total at the end of the session, when final payment is made. The deposit will be forfeited and become non-refundable, if a failure to cancel or notify me 48 hours prior to the event does not occur. 
 

Purchasing a Package 

Packages are non-refundable. Purchasing a package is similar to how a massage membership works. You are making a commitment to the amount of sessions you have purchased. I keep track of every session used in a package. If for any reason you are unable to use the massages you have pre-purchased, they can be gifted to family members or friends, as long as their addresses fall with my 20 mile travel radius.
